Services
Municipalities:

For Ocean City, NJ, Nautilus installed over 400 kilowatts on the roofs of municipal buildings, providing a significant source of clean power – and attracting a new group of vacationers for whom green energy is a draw.

Businesses:

For Thule, a world leader in the manufacture of transportation accessories, Nautilus built a 318 kilowatts system that's currently supplying about 26% of the electricity for their US manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters, and providing significant cost savings over the long term.

Schools:

Our solar installation for William Patterson University in New Jersey, when completed in 2010, will be the largest solar energy plant for any educational institution in America. 3.2 megawatts of power will be generated, providing approximately 20% of the university's electricity needs. The system is expected to save the university over $4.3 million over the next 18 years.

Experienced installation partners.

Nautilus Solar has long-term working relationships with highly skilled and experienced installation partners – trusted local firms who have completed dozens of large-scale electrical and construction projects over the years. Our partners will provide you with a clear plan, manage the project efficiently from start to finish, and work with you to ensure minimal disruption to your facility.

Our interests are aligned with our customers.

When your solar panels are producing the maximum amount of energy they can, everybody wins. The more electricity your organization gets from solar, the less you have to buy from the utility; this simultaneously increases your savings, builds Nautilus' revenue, and lowers your carbon footprint. It's a win, win, win (for you, Nautilus, and the Earth). Because our revenue depends on the electricity production, we work diligently to maintain the solar panels at peak condition. We perform regular inspections and maintenance of our systems, and have 24/7 monitoring of production, so we know immediately if there is a problem and work quickly to get it fixed.

Total Package.

Nautilus Solar handles all aspects of design, financing, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance as part of its turnkey development plan. A Nautilus PPA translates into less risk, plus the confidence of budgeting certainty and long-term savings. No capital is required from your organization. Nautilus Solar takes on all of the financing for the system, so you're not burdened with a loan. Once the system is built and in place, you simply pay us a pre-determined rate for the electricity that you use, which is historically lower than the rates charged by utilities. Over the long term, as utility costs inevitably rise, your savings per watt will likely increase. Nautilus Solar handles all of the maintenance and repair cost for the life of the system, at no cost to you.

No Capital Required.

Nautilus' core business is development of long-term Power Purchase Agreements in which we finance, own, and operate the system, while the customer agrees to a pre-determined rate for the electricity produced. This rate is historically lower than the historical prices. You begin to see cost savings on the first day that your new system is in place, but don't have to put up a single dollar. And since you only pay for the power produced, you can be sure that we'll keep the system up and running over the long term.
